Development Assistant / Volunteer Coordinator

 

Promise of Life Network is seeking a Development Assistant / Volunteer Coordinator. This is a key administrative position responsible for managing volunteers and ensuring fundraising projects are completed efficiently. Our many volunteers possess diverse skills and provide a wide range of support to our organization. The successful candidate will vet volunteer applicants, provide initial training, and competently match individuals and groups with appropriate tasks. The goal will be to ensure our volunteers’ experience is positive and productive. This combination role also assists the Director of Support Services with office tasks such as preparing mailings, planning events, and securing print material. This position requires attention to detail, initiative, and good people skills. The successful applicant must be comfortable talking to community partners in person, on the phone, and through email. This is paid, full-time employment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Experience managing volunteers preferred. Applicants must be a professing Christian, a faithful attendee of a local church, and committed to embracing a Biblical view of sexuality.

 

New Beginnings Site Manager

 

Promise of Life Network is seeking a New Beginnings Site Manager. Promise of Life Network’s New Beginnings division provides parenting education and material assistance to families with children four years old and under in our local communities. The ideal candidate is passionate about connecting families with God while helping them grow as parents and as individuals. The desired Site Manager will enjoy conducting both in-person and virtual parenting sessions, as well as ensuring the Parents’ Shops in our Mercer and Sandy Lake locations are attractive and well organized. The successful candidate will display skill at training and working with volunteer Parenting Coaches and value collaborating with others on the New Beginnings team and Promise of Life Network family. A high school degree is required, and an associates (or higher) degree is preferred. Candidates with experience working with families with young children will be given preference. This position is part time at 20 hours per week with some flexibility. Reliable transportation is a must.
