Chat Coordinator, At Home Abortion Facts

Position is for 40 hours per week

Reports to: Director of International Operations

Home office: TBD

 

Overall responsibility is to oversee the daily operations of the At Home Abortion Facts chatline on Facebook (Prov 24:11)

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the scheduling of volunteer advocates for shifts on the chatline.

  2. Oversee the scheduling of Supervisors on Duty for the chatline.

  3. Serve as an advocate and/or shift supervisor when required.

  4. Continue to develop team of trained volunteers; recruit new volunteers.

  5. Maintain established relationships with international resources, including (but not limited to): Pregnancy Help South Africa, Pregnancy Help Network, private pregnancy resource centers, pastors, and missionaries.

  6. Communicate the message of the Gospel to international clients and ensure volunteers are trained to do so (Matt 28:16-20).

  7. Assist the Director of Operations in building relationships with new pregnancy centers, missionaries, and other organizations overseas.

  8. Meet with Director of International Operations regularly to discuss work; give written bi-monthly and end-of-year reports detailing At Home Abortion Facts chatline, including client numbers, geographies, and outcomes.

  9. Assist Director of International Operations in the training of new volunteers, maintaining training logs, and developing curriculum.

  10. Assist Director of International Operations as needed.

  11. Other tasks as requested by the Director of International Operations and Executive Director.

 

 

Qualifications:

  1. Strong, mature commitment to Christ and to the sanctity of human life; sense of God’s calling to serve at Promise of Life Network (Prov 24:11).

  2. Commitment to the mission of Promise of Life Network; agreement with Bylaws, Commitment of Care and Competence, Statement of Faith, and Code of Christian Conduct (2 Corinthians 7:1).

  3. Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position (Jeremiah 1:5).

  4. Strong organization skills required; ability to work with statistical data preferred.

  5. Strong interpersonal skills and evidence of successfully working within teams and leading teams required (John 15:12).

  6. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  7. Proficient online skills (social media, website) required; experience using Facebook Ads preferred.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; ability to learn to use the Promise of Life Network basic systems.
