Board of Directors

Promise of Life Network is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of individuals from a variety of church traditions and professional backgrounds. Every member is a committed Christian who is dedicated to protecting the unborn and their families. We are honored to have serving on our Board at this time the following members:



Gordy retired from the Air Force in 2011 as a Lt. Col. and Commander of the 171st Air Refueling Wing in Pittsburgh. Gordy currently works as the Department Chair of Computer Science and Cybersecurity at Geneva College in Beaver Falls. Gordy and his wife Lisa live in Enon Valley PA with their son, Croix. Their two older children, Reece and Peyton, live out of state with their spouses.




Amanda is a graduate of Geneva College with a degree in Accounting and Finance. She is currently working for Maher Duessel, CPAs, as a Supervisor. Her other volunteer activities include being a leader in her church’s Youth Group, as well as volunteering in her church’s nursery. In her spare time, she likes to hang out with her two kitties: Raleigh and Callie, and her new puppy Gracie, as well as her fiancée Jacob and his dog Gunner. She is from New Castle, PA but is relocating to Poland, Ohio after she gets married in June 2020.



Matt works as a professor at Geneva College in the Business Department and lives in Grove City with his wife, Chelle, and their two children Zane & Logan (both in college). They attend Transformation Church, also in Grove City. Matt enjoys all things outdoors including camping, hiking, boating, hunting & fishing. He is a firearms enthusiast, a NRA certified handgun instructor, a PA State Hunter Safety instructor, and an amateur gun collector.

Vice President

Tom has served as the pastor of Zion Baptist Church in Slippery Rock for over thirty years. During his time as pastor he has also served as a track coach, primarily at Slippery Rock High School. Tom and his wife Kathe live in Slippery Rock and have four chidren and eight grandchildren. When he isn't pastoring or coaching Tom enjoys golfing, reading, and watching movies. 



Marla has over 30 years’ experience in sales, marketing and business management. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and a Master’s Degree in Servant Leadership. Marla served as the CEO of a pregnancy center, Pregnancy Aid Clinic. She is also the co-author of a book entitled “Opportunity Meets Motivation” – a collection of lessons from small business owners.  She is married to her husband Greg and has three children, Ashlea, Zac and Ben. She resides in New Castle, PA. 



Bill recently retired as the Director of Spiritual Services at St. Paul's in Greenville. Bill is an ordained Pastor an Elder with Victory Christian Center and the immediate past president of the Greenville Area Christian Ministers Association. Bill and his wife Connie were formerly very involved with a ministry called "Children of Chernobyl" and have hosted exchange students from Belarus and Russia. Bill enjoys an occasional game of golf, helping Connie with her goats and relaxing with their cats, Judy and Pumpkin.

Sarah began with Alpha Omega Center as a college intern in 2008, and has been the executive director since 2014. Sarah and her husband Anthony have been married for 12 years and Anthony stays home with and homeschools their four sons, Tommy, Eli, Zeke, and Jonah. Sarah graduated from Geneva College with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a minor in Business and is currently working towards her MBA. Her first book, Courageously Pro-Life, and other resources for pregnancy centers are available on her website, When Sarah isn’t working to end abortion she can be found knitting, riding her razor scooter, bicycling, and spending time with her family.
